A gigantic silver fern is making its mark high on London's skyline for the duration of the Olympic Games.
The flag is covering three of the top floors of the 18-floor New Zealand House, which houses the New Zealand High Commission and a number of government department branch offices.
The flag was a joint initiative between the High Commission and London-based New Zealand businessman Kent Gardner, the chief executive of property fund manager Evans Randall, to show support for New Zealand athletes at the Games.
It will remain in place for the duration of the Olympics.
New Zealand House is one of the taller buildings in central London and overlooks Trafalgar Square and Horse Guards Parade.
