The really interesting thing about this is that Rob Muldoon and Helen Clark were each inevitably leading their own party to defeat at the next election . But neither party had someone with" what it takes "to lead a challenge to their leadership and hopefully rebuild the party to some reasonable hope at the upcoming election. NOW-Julia Gillard could see the writing on the wall and she had "what it takes" to make a move and solidify Labour prior to the next election.SHE is being crucified but politics is a tough game and there is no place for people who know there is only one way to move-once on top. Let's see what happens in August.
