... god this shit gets boring. More state centred tautological bickering that fails categorically to get at the heart of the problems the world faces. Perhaps if folks like you, Jim, actually took the time to listen to what those multi-degreed 'students' ... actually they'd be academics, you might learn something including how well respected our academic community is internationally as well as just how much they contribute to our GDP.
Greame, reading into your write ups you are a tory and if the National party were of any good how did Labour survive 3 terms in power under the same leadership, yet National with past history of crazy idiotic ideas have ever only lasted 1 term.If I was going to purchase some thing I look at its make etc too last a while, not like the national party braek down after 3 years.Facts are better you wrote, will be corrected become factual your self like the rest of the nat supporters on here. The truth may hurt some times,If you were happy with the National party why come on here writing a lot of hog wash.
TrevHave you heard of the Professional Student who spends a life time in the system and does NOT want to go out into the work force? Unfortunately, there are allot of them around, they get a degree, find that they don't want to work so turn around and spend another 3 to 5 years at Uni. getting another degree (it goes on and on). They are not preparing for their own future so why should we do it for them? Get the lazy over qualified pieces of beneficiary students out in the work force instead of them drugging themselves in Varsity at our expense. And Trev, you know I do not mean trainee Doctors, Engineers etc...!!!
