Reality TV couple Jon and Kate Gosselin have beaten MTV Video Music Awards stage invader Kanye West to the top of a new Thanksgiving-themed Turkey of the Year poll.
The Jon & Kate Plus Eight stars, who have spent much of 2009 publicly insulting each other during a bitter divorce and custody battle, were named the top turkeys, while West's Taylor Swift protest in September earned him the number two spot on US TV news show Access Hollywood's list of shame.
Dethroned and disgraced former Miss USA Carrie Prejean, much-maligned reality TV newlyweds Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag and Lindsay Lohan and her father Michael also made the top five on the turkey list.
