I don't get why all of these biast middle aged people can make decisions for teenagers. What about the people who leave school at 16 how are they meant to get a job if they can't drive without having an adult with them. We are lectured that we need to be more responsible but it is all taken away from us. It is the 18 and 19 year olds causing the trouble not us. As for raising the drinking age that is stupid. I have been to parties gotten wasted and thrown up in a bucket but I've learnt from that and now I know my limits. The thing was though I was in a supervised environment with people looking out for me and my mum was able to pick me up meaning I got home safely. If I was a 20 year old at some random party who knows what could have happened. It is better that we make our mistakes and learn from them in a safe environment so that we don't have any more deaths

@Brent. Labour's transport minister at the time was not interested. There was a private members bill proposed to increase the age but it was not drawn from the ballot.

the drinking age should be raised to 20 because that has evidence to back that up not the driving age it has aways been 15
