Graham Henry has had “enough”.

Those are his words.

At midday today, at Auckland’s University Rugby Club – where his coaching career had taken off – Henry told a media conference and the country that he was stepping down as All Blacks coach.

One-hundred-and-three tests.

John Hart is the man who coached the second greatest number of All Blacks test – and he reached 41.

Of the 16 All Blacks coaches to have coached 10 games or more, only two – Alex Wylie and Fred Allen – have a better win-loss record than him.

So it’s been a remarkable career, but it could have ended with that quarter final loss in 2007.

Indeed, he thought it was ending with that loss in 2007.

Henry talks to John Campbell about standing down and how hard a decision it was to make.
