Hamilton police have arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault on a woman last week.
The incident occurred on Wallace Road, and police made an arrest yesterday after receiving strong information from the public.
"At this time I would like to thank those members of the public who assisted us with our enquiries and also appeal for anyone else who may have been approached by a man in a hi-vis coat or vest recently asking if they wanted a ride," says Hamilton CIB acting Detective Senior Sergeant Carl Moon.
