There are no different races of humans on this planet. We all evolved from the same genetic stock and what people mistake as race is in fact cultural difference. There is only one race, the human race!. The fact that Maori migrated to New Zealand is well known not disputable. With a high degree of certainty the ancestors of the current Maori were the first inhabitants of this island and based on current genetic evidence came from Asia (China/Taiwan to be specific). What is occurring in New Zealand is a cultural dispute. Hone Harawira is no different than the radical Muslims that whip up the ignorant and disenfranchised masses. The sea bed and foreshore are assets for all New Zealanders not a few who think they are owed something because their distant relations were here first. Stop standing on the shoulders of giants, blaming everyone else but themselves for their predicaments in life and make your own contributions to society.
