Hone Harawira's figures are not going to stack up, if he thinks he can start a new party. Like Alamain Kopu's Maori Women's Party a few years ago, it has to small numbers from which he could expect to draw support.With only 16 per cent of the country considering themselves Maori and most of those voting Labour, he has no chance of creating a credible party by November. He can't turn the clock back to 1839, the consequences of the TReaty are here to stay.
