3News - The Wendy's rampage happened in the morning, but have you felt threatened at a fast food store before?

Have you felt intimidated at a fast food outlet?

Auckland man David Ilolohia has criticised police force used against him after he went into a violent rage at a Wendys when he received an incorrect order. This incident occurred in the morning, but with many outlets catering to late night revellers things can get quite dicey at your average fast food joint as an evening wears on. Have you ever felt intimidated in this environment?

At the very least NZ land/property should be "leased" by overseas visitors and not owned outright. Was there this much fuss when Shania Twain purchased land in Otago years ago?And is it as bad as NZ assett sales?

I don't think that the Gray farms should be sold, This is our land. The farmers that have the money to buy the land should have the right to do so. Oversea buyers can excuse the french! but bugger off. We don't have a lot and what we do have we should have the right to keep it. Signed New Zealander and proud of it.

I used to work in Guam which is part of the USA territory. I went to the WENDYS drive through one day for lunch. I cant eat tomatoe so asked for a burger non tomatoe. My Reciept even showed that request. But got the tomatoe. I parked went in and said - No tomatoe please. Well after 4 attempts and all with tomatoe i ended up throwing the burger at the manager. The police were called. They said I had Assulted the manager. (USA law is pretty full on). I explained situation to the Police, showed the reciept. They turned around and charged the manager with atempted murder, as I clearly asked for no tomatoe as im alergic to it. Talk about extreme! I settle with a cash compensation from the owner of Wendys Guam. All charges were dropped. It shows how if you dont listen to your customers you could end in up in jail! McDs in NZ did similar last year. Took 4 attempts to get a burger ex the tomatoe! Why dont they offer Beetroot instead i say!

yes I have been present twice when people have gone berserk over an order once a man the other a woman, who was by far the more violent. Unfortunately in both cases they were Maori and in this case Pacific islander. Unfortunately most violence and child abuse comes from these groups, why is this?

Apparently he had a huge order and flipped out because there werent enough patties on his burger. Fast food workers are only human and make mistakes. For those criticising the poor staff I would love to see you be perfect 100% off the time.

There are so many huge life-obstacles like this which we have to face every day giving us reason to flip out.

I dont condone what that bloke did,it's annoying to order a meal to come back completely different then having to put up with facial attitude, not to mention having to ask for ur sweet an sour sauce or bbq sauce i mean this should be automatic,i went thru drive thru asked for a mac off the grill more like out of the microwave heated up, there was no one behind me was pretty quiet in one ear out the other just saying....

More than once I have had a fast food place screw-up an order. Most of the time, it is MY TIME being used to go back inside to get them to correct it. A problem I had with McDonald should clarify this. I ordered a Coke in the drive thru. When I had pulled away, and took a drink, it was Root Beer. I had to park, go inside, and explain that they screwed up. Now I had to wait for a manager to come over to apologize before they gave me another cup to get the correct drink. Time spent: 9 minutes after I first left the drive thru window. Now some fast food places are fast and accurate, but they are few and far between.

I don't know why, but when I think of a huge guy going beserk over something trivial like an order error I feel like playing a game of Left 4 Dead.
