The man charged with killing Christchurch teenager Hayden Miles has had his name suppression lifted.
He is 27-year-old Gavin John Gosnell, who appeared in Christchurch District Court on Friday, the Christchurch Court News website reported.
Gosnell, who is unemployed, has been charged with murdering 15-year-old Hayden, who disappeared on August 22 last year soon after ringing his mother to say his phone had been stolen.
Gosnell will next appear on February 3 when a complete psychiatric report will be presented.
Police discovered Hayden's remains in a Christchurch cemetery last month.
An 18-year-old woman has also been charged with actively helping a man avoid arrest and a 35-year-old Parklands man has been charged with stealing a cask of wine, mobile phone and iPod from Hayden on the day of his alleged murder.
