Zebb... your a bit behind the times... colours have been around for some time and the crips & bloods theme is strong. LAWS did a good job in introducing that law... just hope it goes national!

The 'Gang' issue doesn't just revolve around the patch they wear.. its more about their actions. In the USA they have 'colour' gangs which are starting to infilitrate Aotearoa/NZ.. are 'concerned' mayors going to start banning the wearing of certain colours.. eg Red, Blue, Green & Yellow (political colours !!) ?? kia-ora

I hope the court applies commom sense about good and bad, and fined these gang members for wasting the court's time.

How hypocritical of these staunch, proud gang members to seek legal redress, when previously they have shown nothing but contempt for the laws of this country.

The Courts cannot strike down Parliamentary Legislation even where it conflicts with the NZ Bill of Rights Act 1990. But Hell's Angels should by all means go ahead and waste money on judicial review.
