Hopes are high for more good medal news for New Zealand from the Olympic sailing tomorrow.

After silver medal success in Weymouth yesterday, further hope now rests on the women’s 470 crew who are currently tied in first place with Great Britain.

Coach Nathan Handley says the girls will be giving it their all tomorrow.

“It’s a do-or-die position,” says Handley.

He says that despite the fierce competition, the kiwis remain friendly rivals with Team GB.

“Us and the Brits are pretty good friends, and we’ve been having a good battle all week.  We have a gold spot if we win the regatta and we’ve been swapping it all week, so this is pretty fitting,” he says.
