A Wayne Rooney hat-trick has helped Manchester United beat Portsmouth 4-1 and close the gap to just two points on Chelsea at the top of the English Premiership table.
Two of Rooney's goals were penalties; one of them after Rooney himself had been fouled early in the game.
Portsmouth also scored their solitary goal from a penalty.
United’s fourth goal was scored by veteran Ryan Giggs, his 100th for the club.
