Prosecutors have accused a Texas high school assistant principal of soliciting sex from students using text messages.
James Camden McKinney was arrested last month on a charge of online solicitation of a minor involving a 15-year-old student. His attorney says the Porter High School assistant principal turned himself in after learning he was wanted on similar charges involving four students.
McKinney was in a Brownsville jail on Wednesday after failing to post bond.
Defence attorney Robert Garza told the Brownsville Herald that McKinney has been suspended since the investigation began in October. Garza didn't immediately return a call to The Associated Press.
