Homicide investigation launched in BoP death

Police are speaking to a family member after a 45-year-old man was found dead in the Bay of Plenty last night.

The body was discovered at a rural property near Taneatua, 13km south of Whakatane, after police were called to a domestic incident involving the two men, said Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Standen of Whakatane CIB.

A homicide investigation has been launched.
