Hoops for Christchurch raises $29,000

Kiwi sports stars have taken to the basketball court tonight to shoot some hoops for a good cause.

Hoops for Christchurch has raised $29,000 towards the Christchurch earthquake appeal.

Hundreds of fans flocked into to Porirua's Te Rauparaha Arena to get a glimpse of their favourite sports stars playing ball, and more importantly support a city in mourning.
