ATHLETICS - NICK WILLIS fades on the final lap to finish ninth in the 1500m.

CYCLING - SIMON VAN VELTHOOVEN gets up on the line to win bronze in the keirin; JOANNE KIESANOWSKI finishes seventh in the omnium.

HOCKEY - The Black Sticks men draw 5-5 with Germany.

CANOEING - TENEALE HATTON fails to make the final of the women's K1 500m, posting the 15th fastest time; K2 500m pair LISA CARRINGTON and ERIN TAYLOR are sixth fastest qualifiers for Thursday's final.

ATHLETICS - NICK WILLIS fades on the final lap to finish ninth in the 1500m.

CYCLING - SIMON VAN VELTHOOVEN gets up on the line to win bronze in the keirin; JOANNE KIESANOWSKI finishes seventh in the omnium.

SAILING - Women's 470 pair JO ALEH and OLIVIA POWRIE win both races to take the lead with three races left; PAUL SNOW HANSEN and JASON SAUNDERS slip two places to be fifth in the men's 470; JP TOBIN is eighth in the medal race and finishes seventh overall as the RS:X bids farewell to the Olympics.

TRIATHLON - BEVAN DOCHERTY is best of the men coming home 12th, KRIS GEMMELL is 15th, while RYAN SISSONS takes 33rd.
