We live in a World where the generation in charge is heaping on new laws and restrictions and then failing to train our young in how to make their way through this maze. Seems amazing that we are setting up the ones we love to fail. Great to hear someone speaking out about the need to help, guide and train our young people so that they can take the personal responsibility and accountability for their actions, that the older generation is expecting. Good luck to Yvonne and MIOMO
I'm the same as Katie Hunt...I was one of the first to be one this course and I can back both katie and Yvonne up in saying that this course has in fact changed my life!!!!I know what I want to do with myself and I know with full confidence that I'm not going to let anyone, or most importantly, myself stop me from dreaming big and reaching for it.I've made a heap of friends that I'll always remember and never forget. Love you guys xxBecause of this course I say tie my hands behind my back and bring on the world.Love Melissa.
I was on the first ever MIOMO course and I absolutely loved it! I had a ball, I met a variety of different people and I have made life long friends from it.Yvonne's idea to make this course was brilliant. She taught me a lot of different things I didn't know.Yvonne was talking about the presentations that we did, and I never ever thought I would be able to get up in front of that many people and deliver a 7 minute speech about myself, but I did it, and I am so thankful to Yvonne for helping me change my life around, I now know what my future holds for me and I can say it in pride that going on MIOMO was one of the best experiences of my life.I am ready to spread my wings and fly.Well done YvonneLots of love Katie
I think Yvonne Godfrey's course has come at the just the right time. So many of our teenagers lack direction and the necessary confidence in making it on their own - no wonder they want to stay longer at home. Looking at the course on her website (www.miomo.co.nz), I think you cannot put a price on the skills that our teenagers will learn and benefit from.
Yvonne is a stunning leader! Love her :)
