re the queenstown storyMost planes take off at night and the plane got to Sydney. Only 2 of the 71 passengers moaned about it. What is their problem? The pilots and crew would not have taken off if they did not think they could make it. Tell the 2 passengers to take a concrete pill and harden up.Ross
This sort of thing (and worse) happens all the time.Peter should check his Baycorp / Veda Advantage file to make sure he hasn't been the victim of Credit Fraud as well...If there are errors or anything else on his credit rating that he thinks shouldn't be there, he could enlist the services of a Credit File repair specialist firm to fix his credit rating.I and several other firms have helped many thousands of people in both AU and NZ remove defaults, judgments and other black marks from their credit ratings.First, get a copy of his credit file and check to make sure he knows what every credit enquiry was for, then check to make sure there aren't any unknown defaults or court actions. If he has anything unusual, he should contact the creditor directly, provide proof that it was not him and have the default removed.Good Luck PeterGraham DoesselMyCRA.com.au07 3613 9709
RE Canvas Cafe reviewsFair enough the engine room refused a photo -After spending 10 years working to build our reputation (which is just as much about the place as the personality who runs it), we sold our business in March to focus on our Pie shop & Lunchroom. Canvas recently unfavorably reviewed the cafe we sold and used a photo which featured my picture serving customers from over 4 years ago. I recieved an apology within the misprints & corrections section of the magazine but its unlikely those who recognised me picked up on the misrepresentation there. The new owners are going through a settling in time and no mention was made to the fact that the business has recently changed hands. I feel for them and the employees in this difficult climate and worry how the use of the my picture may effect our newly establish business.
How come that greenpeace is allowed to disrupt so many businesses worldwide on so many occasions and often will not be touched by police forces. media is not even questioning their actions anymore. Its all behind the cover of "make the world better"- picture If i was to climb around on a petrol stations sign- i would say the police would be dealing to me very quickly and rigorously. and they would be right to do so!! Greenpeace has evolved into a terrorizing union of people with unrealistic and often immature visions of how to make this world "better". The media would be able to keep those sort of actions in their right light. I always thought that John Campbell has guts to go a different way. It seems like he has taken the same way all media goes: the big story comes first and tackling out the truth beneath last. just on a note: how exactly does the average citizen think a deep sea oil leak is going to be fixed and in what time frame? and how much of that is realistic? BP is battling their way through a crisis that could have happened to each of the main oil companies and BP are doing the BEST they can. where is the story telling the side of BP and showing the public a view into the harsh work on the sea trying to fix this and why it is so hard to fix it. you are the media and you have the power to show the other side. always. i thought this is what gets most reporters into it in the first place. instead you seem to take just the same stand as the poor rest of them(media).
