Sesame Street enters its 42nd season this year and the show has lined up a number of big-name stars for guest appearances.
Oscar winners Nicole Kidman and Robin Williams will hit the street along with funnymen Seth Rogan and Andy Samberg, as will up-and-coming stars Emma Stone, Mila Kunis and Amy Adams.
TV actors and actresses will cross networks to be on the show too. Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Rico Rodriguez will be joined by The Office’s John Krasinski, The Big Bang Theory’s Johnny Galecki, and Community’s Joel McHale and Ken Jeong – though their co-stars Danny Pudi and Donald Glover may be a bit jealous.
Sesame Street isn’t just relying on actors for its star power though, with New York Knicks and NBA stars Amar’e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony slated to appear, as is the New Orleans Saints’ Superbowl winning quarterback Drew Brees.
The 42nd season of Sesame Street will focus on the themes of science, technology, engineering and mathematics – what the show is calling the STEM curriculum.
