British movie star Hugh Grant was mobbed by fans at the Australian premiere of his latest romantic comedy Did You Hear About the Morgans?.
The 49-year old was approached by women screaming "I want your babies!" and some women even asked if he'd autograph their breasts.
In an exclusive chat with 3 News he admitted he 'should' have babies, but he wouldn't reveal who he'd like to have them with.
Grant's role in the film has been described as a bit of a boys' fantasy with him playing a cowboy type character.
"I thought I might look sexy in the cowboy outfit, although I just see now I look like an elderly lesbian," says Grant.
It's hard to tell Hugh Grant and his on screen characters apart - British, dry, self deprecating, brilliant with the one liners like "My wife is a member of PETA - I've been meaning to join."
Grant says he is happy with Did You Hear About the Morgans?, his first movie in two years.
"It's come out the way I hoped it would be, funny and touching," says Grant.
"I've ended up doing too many romantic comedies ... but I sort of felt this was the next phase on. It's not your classic romantic comedy, it's not boy meets girl. It's about marriage."
His wife is played by New York darling Sarah Jessica Parker, who Grant describes as funny, clever and unusual.
On screen, he takes her to dinner in a bid to win her back after his cheating ways. But on the way home they witness a murder and the murderer sees them.
They are then forced to enter a witness protection program and relocate out West.
"I think the whole idea of having a new identity is quite tempting, I think everyone would quite like that," says Grant.
In the movie he and Parker restart their marriage and end up with one adopted child and Parker becoming pregnant.
When asked about his own family life, Grant said: "I think I should have children", but would not reveal who he should have them with.
Also a firm no, according to Grant, is another instalment of Bridget Jones' Diary.
"I think not," he says of a third film in the series. "The first one I loved. The second one I slightly regret.
"It was never a very good script. Renee, Colin and I all felt that about it but we kind of got bamboozled into it.
It still made nearly $300 million at the box office. If his new movie does anywhere near as well, everyone would have heard about the Morgans.
Did You Hear About the Morgans? opens in New Zealand February 4.
