What happened to this story? On Tuesday I thought John was coming back to tell us if we could contribute - or if he was going to. I certainly would spare $5 on principle.

Kia ora johnI was at the parade in wellington todsy it was awesum to see. I wanted to bring to your attention the children who were present that had been waiting since 11 o'clock this morning to see their heroes and to get autographs in particular I would like to mention a young boy who wanted his Sanitarium ABs book signed he had been pushed to the back of the kerb by unrelenting teenagers who had no courtesy for the younger ones. In the area of lampton quay of where I was watching there were many young ones pushed out and unable to reach or see their idols. This young boy was too short to reach up and pass his book over to be signed as the utes went past he looked at me with sad eyes and asked if I could help out, we tried the first time only to miss the ute. I turned around to look for the young boy and lost sight of him in the crowd with his book still in my possession. I was wondering if in good faith that you are able to help this young boy out by getting the Abs to sign his book and return it to him I am sure it will definitely make his dreams come true unfortunately I dont have an address but his name is in the front of the book it is Jude F/A this is all their was in identifying the young man. I hope that you will be able to air it live on TV so that this young man knows his book will be coming home to him. Any help that you may be able to assist in would bed greatly appreciated. It would also be great if thed AB could sign this gentlemans book would totally be al bonus .Any help in this matter im sure would be greatly appreciatedThe book was handed into one of the volunteers dreesed in blued who were assistikng in the parade of wellington today.Rgds Colrina

Why fine the French for advancing on the haka during the final? Is it because they were playing against the All Blacks. That is just ridiculous. By the looks of it if any team will tend to show emotions leading to aggression against the All Blacks will be summoned to donate to the IRB. The IRB and the ALL BLACKS needs to HARDEN UP, its Rugby for God sake, its a physical game. If you can't take whats being thrown at you go play some other sport.

french rugby doesn't need donations , they are one of the wealthiest unions around, give your spare change to pacific islands or nz rugby first. they have to pay this fine because they broke the rule. the rule which was put there by the money hungry IRB, who have a heap of bad rules out there designed to make them money. they were sitting there rubbing there hands together when these incidents took place.10 metre line breach - mouthguards. they are like some councils and governments.morally wrong- finacially stable. thanks.

Goodness gracious me. Have you ever seen ANYTHING of the past Hakas the All Blacks have put up before the oppositions, and THEIR!! responses to it. Buck Shelford, Mike Brewer and Steve McDowell coming nose to nose with the Irish in 1989,Stormin Norm Hewitt, inches from his opposite English hooker, Mike Cockerill. In 2007 the All Blacks were literally just feet away from the French, in performing their Haka, Ka Mate. The stand down that the Welsh took, and the ref had to brake up, and call time. At no time were ANY of these players EVER coming to blows over. IRB, stay the hell out of this. You've already caused far too much consternation and embarrasement to yourselves and the Rugby world!

I was wandering why the Alblacks haven't hired a bus to do a New Zealand tour from the top of the Nort6h Island to the Lower South Island? Within reason everyone in NZ deserves to see them and the country area's support Rugby more than the Cities.

The IRB have/should not have, anything whatsoever to do with what the opposing team challenging te Haka do, as long as NO PHYSICAL CONTACT is made !! To France i say well done, you are the first and no doubt wont be the last but you were respected for the maneuver. Kia Kaha France!!

You should just let it go in the end it didn't harm anyone. Happy to have won the cup, but really what a stink way to end the tournament by giving the French a fine. Im sure they lost enough that night at least it was clear they accepted our challenge.

It looked awesome! It got the crowd more riled up because they were clear that they accepted the challenge and were ready to fight. Unless they actually interfere with the haka, who cares? What I saw made the haka look more awesome and shouldn't have got them fined $20,000.
It seems nothing can hold Messam back in 2012 and he's hoping to grab the vacant All Black blindside flanker role with two hands.
It might just be a training squad, but Steve Hansen's first picks as All Blacks coach have fallen a bit flat.
He's both a Rugby World Cup and Super Rugby champion. Now Brad Thorn is just one game away from adding another jewel to his crown.
Veteran All Blacks hooker Keven Mealamu is in doubt for next month's three-test series against Ireland, thanks to the calf injury that has kept him out of the Blues.
It took a phone call from big brother Rico to convince Hosea Gear to turn his back on a lucrative deal to play in Japan. Now the Highlanders wing has been called into the All Blacks training squad along with Chiefs hooker Hika Elliot.
