Caleb was born a healthy, if somewhat premature, baby. He was the third child for this mother Shirley and the first for his father Lindsay. They never expected their precious child would soon be fighting for his life.

At just a few days old, Caleb suffered a massive bleed to his brain that left him with cerebral palsy, unable now to sit up, crawl or walk. Caleb also suffers as many as 50 seizures a day. The doctors in New Zealand have told Shirley and Lindsay that if the seizures don’t stop, Caleb will end up with more severe brain damage.

Overseas, stem cell research is showing positive results for those with cerebral palsy. There have been reports of spectacular successes – in at least one case, a blind child suddenly gaining perfect sight.

Caleb’s family decide to travel to the USA and Mexico so Caleb can receive this radical and costly treatment.

60 Minutes meets the family and travels with them on their quest to give young Caleb a better life.

Wow what a darling wee boy, while I was watching the clip I saw in my minds eye Kaeleb laughing and running around and throwing a ball to his dad. I know in my heart of hearts he will do all those things and more.
Best wishes

Hi, My Family met with Lisa and Tyler at the office of Dr. Jason Clopton in Cookeville,TN. We have two very lovely little 4 yr. old girls. Both have similar issues as Tyler and Kaeleb with brain damage from birthing. One is close to walking, she has effects the same as a stroke would affect the body. Her left side does not function as well as the right and she has had brain bleeds during birth.
Her sister has cerebelum issues and does not have enough balance or motor control of her limbs YET to be able to walk in the near future and is fed with a feeding pump.
We love our girls more than anyone or anything in this world. This Video (of Kaeleb and Tyler and especially with meeting Tyler's Mother "Lisa" and friend Racheal) who's daughter Brooklyn has similar issues, has given us HOPE OF A GOOD LIFE FOR OUR TWINS. We are trying to research all we can of this Great procedure and trying to raise the funds needed for this.
We wish the best results for all of you...
With Love,Hope and Understanding,.... Mr.Tom
