There is nothing like expletive-riddled British political satire to entice you along to a night at the movies, and In the Loop is top of its class.

Bureaucratic buffoons shepherded by fork-tongued foul-mouthed communications wolves trip-hop haphazardly headlong into war.

A virtuoso performance from Peter Capaldi as the apoplectic Director of Comms is the icing on the cake.

Bitingly clever and laugh-out-loud funny, this film was over far too quickly... Don’t miss it.

Four and half stars.

One of the worst films I have seen. Little more than a monotonous litany of swear words with no discernible action or plot. A waste of money to make and to view. We walked out after 30 minutes.
