We showed you just last week how stressful it can be for a first time buyer to break into the real estate market - so what about the stress that comes after you own that home?

The cost of renovation, the pain of doing it yourself.

You could call renovation the great Kiwi pastime, and from tonight the subject of a new TV show.

It’s called The Block NZ and it involves four couples competing on camera for the promise of a profit.
