Iran is well known for being one of the strictest countries on earth, where listening to western music is banned.

So local musicians have taken matters into their own hands by making rock blues and country, Iranian style.

It's actually the conservatives in Iran that are corrupting the countries youth using parts of the Qu'ran that most other Islamic countries don't even dare to preach. I hope these musicians make it big, if not in their own country then certainly in the West.
