After Thierry Henry's now infamous handball cost Ireland a place at next year's Fifa World Cup finals Ireland has asked to be included as an extra team.

While Fifa have said there'll be no replay of the match, Ireland has appealed to be added as the 33rd team.

While that's unlikely to happen Fifa boss Sepp Blatter says the Henry incident is an example of a wider problem facing the game.

The Fifa executive committee are meeting with Blatter to discuss the matter of extra match officials to assist on such rulings.
