A Campbell Live poll found that very nearly two thirds of you favour changing the New Zealand flag

By the 1950's Canadians were asking “what does our flag say about us?”

And in 1965 the maple leaf-inspired design became their flag – and it is amongst the most instantly recognisable of all national flags.

They remained in the commonwealth, the Queen signed off on it, no heads were chopped off, but they had a flag that spoke of them.

Last night, a Campbell Live poll found that very nearly two thirds of you favour changing the New Zealand flag.

You can not use this symbology as they are corporate logos. Plus, no country has a flag entirely black. Unless you live on a pirate ship.

New Zealand is coated in black and white right now--visitors would have a hard time working out the actual flag, it's so rare. Similarly, Australians are covered in green and gold, colours that don't appear in their flag. On the other hand, just look at other countries like Canada or France or Ireland if you want to see what it looks like when people actually identify with their country's flag.
