I'm struggling to get a good night's sleep at the moment. My brain is whizzing away 24/7 with wedding details, and this is not conducive to a restful and relaxing sleep. In fact, I am currently experiencing wedding nightmares at least once a week! Not much fun waking up in a big panic I tell ya! They're so vivid too, ahhhhh!
There was the nightmare where it was raining, and our marquee hadn't shown up. I was in my dress with no hair or makeup, flapping around trying to contact the marquee people when guests started to arrive!
Then there was the nightmare where we had just 22 guests show up on the big day (we've invited 70!).
Oh and the one where there was no music because people faffed around with the iPod!
I guess each nightmare is really just my wee mind racing away, thinking about all the bits that aren't yet ticked off the list.
I'm trying to confirm the marquee and other hire things, but every day (well, night!) I think of something extra I need to add to the quote.
The RSVPs have been coming back quite slowly, which is obviously playing on my mind, hence the 22 guest nightmare! And the thought of putting together the reception playlist and having it stored away on a laptop with no real 'plan B' is all just a bit scary right at the moment.
There's just over 10 weeks to go, and its hard to know if these nightmares are going to get better or worse!
So if anyone has some tried and true methods for putting my mind to rest at bedtime, please let me know :)
