The Scoop: A great sounding & looking all girl Kiwi rock band. There isn't any new ground being broken but they have good songs and great energy. They also seem to have the desire to make it happen.

The sound is straightahead pop rock with some melodies that can really stay with you. Plus it doesn't hurt that there is a hint of raunchiness about all of them.

Ivy Lies are a reincarnation of Starlett with Mikha joining Lisa, Emla and Rosie. Starlett were schoolgirls when they got together and the few years experience they have had since then has produced a more direct sound. This can also be credited to having some people with real credentials on the team.

The album was recorded in Bob Clearmountain's Studio in Los Angeles (Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, Robbie Williams, Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow have all recorded there in the past) and with Grammy Award winning Clif Magness producing. 

The first single is 'Addicted' and has just been started to catch play of everyone's favourite pop station, The Edge. The video is also being spun on C4TV. It is being released as a single before Christmas.
