Jackie Chan is alive and well, contrary to rumours that spread on the internet tonight.

'RIP Jackie Chan' shot to the top of Twitter's trending topics list, causing confusion amongst users of the social networking site.

The false reports appears to stem from a fake website made to look like Yahoo!7News, an Australian news website.

The URL of the fake report - pastehtml.com - gives the game away.

The report claims he died of a heart attack in an LA hospital.
