Japan's ongoing tsunami recovery

The Japanese government has estimated the direct financial impact of March's deadly tsunami may cost $350 billion.

Around 90% of the coastal fishing fleet was destroyed, and tens of thousands of hectares of farmland inundated with seawater.

And of course, there are the towns and cities that have to be completely rebuilt.

Reporter Lachlan Forsyth visited Japan to see first-hand their recovery and reconstruction efforts.
