Jean Hubbard and her late husband, businessman Allan Hubbard, will be released from statutory management on November 13.
Mrs Hubbard and her husband, who died this year in a car crash, were placed in statutory management in June last year, along with many of their business entities.
"I am very pleased that statutory management has come to an end and am looking forward to leading a normal life again", said Mrs Hubbard in statement tonight.
"My advisors and I have been working co-operatively with the statutory managers and their advisors for some time now; termination of statutory management won't change that."
Commerce Minister Simon Power says he received a report from the Registrar of Companies saying Mrs Hubbard no longer needed to be under statutory management.
Aorangi Securities Limited, Hubbard Management Funds, Te Tua Charitable Trust and a number of other trusts remain in statutory management.
