Pop star Jessica Simpson has confirmed reports she has been asked to judge Simon Cowell's new X Factor talent show in America.
Only music mogul Antonio 'L.A' Reid has been confirmed as a judge on the new show with Cowell admitting British X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is "in the mix" to join him and Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger in talks to host the new show.
And now Simpson has revealed she’s interested in the gig after being asked to consider a judging role on the programme.
She tells Women's Wear Daily, "They have definitely talked to me about X Factor (and) I think it would be a lot of fun. It’s definitely my life.
"To be a mentor for up-and-coming artists is right up my alley. I would have loved to have a mentor. I love watching people’s dreams come true."
