Auckland will host an airshow like no other over next January's Anniversary Weekend.
The three-day event will feature head-to-head international air racing, military jets and world record attempts.
Among those taking flight will be Yves Rossy.
Known as Jetman, Rossy is the only man to fly with a jet-propelled wing, reaching speeds of up to 300km/h.
Europe Correspondent Melissa Davies flew to Switzerland - in a plane - for this exclusive interview.
