Akl - Wtn flight - booked into Jetstar Akaranga Lounge online ($10pp)This is the former Qantas Club Lounge at Auckland Domestic terminal. Have to say that it was a shocking experience. First, the coffee is care of a much cheaper vending machine than the earlier ones available - and it tastes cheaper. There is barrista coffee available at the counter but that's an extra $4.00 The food selection was pitiful, and a bit stale. Beer selection was limited, but ok (gone are the spirits). The wine was a non vintage so probably suger water at best. The service was non-existent, the lounge empty. But the real let down was the state of the toilets, both male and i am told female were smelly and looked like they have not been serviced in days. A placce to avoid.
