Watching question time @ Parliament this afternoon I felt John Key was very flippant and he did appear to contradict himself as two different things about exactly the same subject can't possibly be right. He has the advantage of the Speaker favouring him too, while people from other parties (especially Winston Peters) get a raw deal over speaking opportunities. John Key had credibility with me in 2008 but my trust has long gone now. Good on David Shearer for sticking at it but I think John Key is so slippery he will always wriggle out.

@JK This is an important issue, this is about the Prime Minister breaking the law. It also calls into question the PM's commitment to New Zealand sovereignty and his shameful pandering to the USA.

Deception is a fine art which Key has mastered like no other NZ leader before him. When his time is over he will have one undeniable achievement - the best photo album in the country. Presidents, royalty, celebrities, billionaires will all take pride of place in his visual record of office. Blame NZ's lack of economic progress on the global financial crisis. What really matters is that Key was able to meet all the world's great and influencial people and add them to his impressive photo album!

Now call this a crazy observation on my part but I am amazed John Key claims to have no memory of the Kim Dotcom raid conversation until '17.9.12'.There will be the claim he has contact with so many people over a 'working' day that he cannot remember 'everything'. But then when it comes to monetary matters and especially(say for example)the state asset sales the numbers and dollar signs are so quickly and without any problem 'remembered'. To me this 'lack of memory' for such matters involving people, the very NZers whose country is being sold to overseas buyers, or school closures(starting in the Canterbury region but undoubtedly to carry on throughout the rest of NZ)and anything else concerning the people of NZ holds little or no concern by Key and Co. All in all this government has a more greater interest in the dollar signs especially into their respective bank accounts. The people of NZ,even one multi-millionaire in the Key 'stronghold' of the Helensville electorate,is just a person.Money is the God,the all-consuming power and control, for this money-obsessed government. Key and co would much rather associate with the much richer fish in the financial ocean than Kim Dotcom. If he was a pauper I am sure this government would not batter an eyelid in walking over him and his family.Paula Bennett has already done that with low income families around NZ. The past so many months have been quite an eye opener for many who had that misguided belief that corruption was an alein concept to our NZ style of government.Everything that has happened proves lies and deception are doing really well in the hallways and offices of the NZ parliament.

Lol david saying hes not making accusations just to cover himself up if hes wrong. Hes obviously accusing him. Why don't you come clean yourself david and admit you're stirring crap because you got all fired up at the end there. Also, you have no proof. So johns credibility isn't hurt. Heck i can't even remember what i did on February. Come clean with your sources and proof or shut the hell up.

MIKE, I don't think that you understand anything or have any idea about this Government and movements or follow its trail from the time he was elected. What the people want is for Key to resign or his own party will have to sack him along with John bank.. All we received from this Government is damages and abuse.. Shearer is only getting to the point of this government denial or he can't remember' and apart from the above this counrty has been a shamble from Keys and his bad luckcharm and now the badluck charm continue for the worse.. WRREN YOUNG, we cannot move on until this problem is solved, for an example, if you commit a crime the law won't allow you to roam free until you serve your time, or a captain of a ship won't sail until it safe to do so therefore the problem must be solved.. 'GET REAL BUDDIES..

[anonymous wrote: "John Key is nothing more than a low I.Q corrupt liar and constantly contradicts himself because he is quite simply, not bright enough to lead our Country] Key is bright enough alright. Crooks ARE generally quite bright, but get too cocky and lie with a straight face & eventually get caught. But I do agree with your second statement that Key is definitely NOT good enough to lead our country. In order to limit long term damage of a few years of political hibernation for the National party who I support, Key should immediately cut his losses, resign, come clean, apologige and pass on the leadership to someone else such as Joyce, English, Ryall, Bennett, Tolly, Parata, Judith Collins or if possible, Simon Upton/Simon Power.
