Brilliant interview. I think Sean and Duncan run the most interesting program on TV, the Nation. The questions are incisisive and the debate is controlled. They are great interrogators and get good answers without histrionics. Loved the Cunliffe/Joyce interview.

@Darren God I can't stand today's Labour warriors. My uni's full of them. The idea is to get people off the benefit, in a functioning country, the benefit should be an aid, not a lifestyle choice. The disabled aren't being hindered by the National government (it would be interesting to know just how how they are) and trade unions are (coming from the son of a forever self employed tradesman) annoying as hell when their demands don't suit the capabilities of different economic circumstances. The economy needs to be fixed and pandering to lame causes won't do that in a recession.

@Clem Yeah "New Zealand's people will be OK", as long they are not beneficiaries, the disabled, public servants, trade unionists, youth and anyone else who Key and co. are prepared to hurt in order to 'fix' the economy, if they get in for a second term. The Nation has become a tabloid program presented by shameless sycophants of National, ACT and the Business Roundtable.

@Brent..LOl you call that hard questions? All i see is an out of context quote from minutes taken by someone who probly doesn't do it often. For all we know the comment was made (if it was indeed made at all) by someone who didn't understand the rules. I notice they didn't print any reply to the suggestion.... The no comment had nothing to do with that acusation..It was about where the info came from. Do you expect them to advertise a security breach/lapse before they have a chance to close it?
