Kia Ora Bernard,
Im so pleased there is someone out there with the same opinions. Japs need to be forced (by, real kiwis & Pete) into a corner to get them to stop their cruel practices in the name of research.
We need these beautiful mammals here at our doorstep, NOT FOREIGN SLAUGHTER.
Come on John Key, show us just how smart you can be.

John Key is an idiot. Why would we want to relax our stance on whaling. It seems John Key cares very little about anything except making money. I think we should mine john keys house and see what he thinks about that. I'm sure Japan's drift net fishing ships would never break a quoter so why would there whalers??? It would be nice to think whales could be around NZ for future generations to see.

Agree with you Bernard. Completely right analysis. The Japanese whaling is not currently illegal. Get rid of the so-called scientific research whaling and instead put an ever decreasing quota in its place. Whaling is gradually phased out and nobody loses face. Ranting and raving about stopping whaling NOW is simply emotional rubbish. It can't be done so let's see a smarter approach. And, in fact, our reputation as a place where whales are not hunted but exploited as a tourism feature could be enhanced as a bit enlightened. Go John!!!
