The JK label only releases 25 bottles per year

John Key has revealed a little earthquake disaster that happened as he was helping fundraise for victims in Christchurch.

He had auctioned a bottle of wine from the vineyard he owns in Otago. But the auction winner, who had paid $52,000 to buy it then dropped it in the car park, smashing the bottle.

Only 25 cases of the JK label wine are produced in any year.

Mr Key felt the man deserved a replacement, and sent him a second bottle.
