The Prime Minister's luxury BMW has gone under the hammer in Auckland today.
The ministerial car that chauffeured John Key around for three years was sold to lucky punter Mike Sentch for $65,400.
The 2008 model is one of five ministerial BMWs to be auctioned off after the government changed its convoy of cars.
The mileage is less than 48,000 kilometres and while it doesn't have Barack Obama's bullet-proof seal or oxygen tank it does boast extra leg room and a three-litre diesel engine.
