Prime Minister John Key, whose Helensville electorate includes the west Auckland suburb struck by a deadly tornado today, has extended his condolences to the friends and families of the victims.

Three people were killed when a concrete slab landed on a truck at a new school construction site in Hobsonville just after midday.

"This must have been an extremely frightening situation for many people in the local community," Mr Key said in a statement this afternoon.

"I'd like to thank the emergency services staff, who are responding to the situation. It's critical they are able to focus on the response."

Mr Key said he was being kept up to date with the situation.

Being extremely sorry for this events horrific consequences says why did you not stop this from occurring in the first place. When we know the truth it sets us free. Jesus said I AM the way the truth and the life . If you know Me He said you know truth. Mr key said this tornado hit in the heart of his electorate. Has mr keys homosexual agenda been the cause of Gods wrath.? Look at the USA when it's leader promoted this now copied plan of Mr Obamas. The USA were likewise afflicted, don't we ever learn Gods wrath will not be dampened down by our disobedience, rather it will increase as we continue to sin against His design for man.

I hate to tell you John but I think you are a jinks. I would say there have been more serious desasters while you have been PM than any other peace time PM in New Zealands history.
