The organiser of a boxing charity says Jonah Lomu has so far not withdrawn from participating in a Fight for Life charity event, despite his recent admission to Auckland Hospital.
The rugby legend is suffering renal problems - his wife Nadene is refusing to comment until they know more.
Lomu, who underwent a kidney transplant in 2004, is one of 12 sports stars selected to box in December.
Promoter Dean Lonergan told RadioLIVE's Marcus Lush that until he hears otherwise, he expects the former All Black will still jump in the ring.
The hospital has been flooded with messages of support.
