Justin Bieber is giving aspiring singer Carly Rae Jepsen's career a big boost - the pop superstar has recruited Selena Gomez and Ashley Tisdale to appear in her new music video.

The ‘Baby’ hitmaker and his manager Scooter Braun are convinced Jepsen has the star talent to hit the top of the charts and they have snapped her up as the latest addition to Braun's Schoolboy Records.

And her new promo for ‘Call Me Maybe’ is an all-star affair - Bieber has teamed up with his girlfriend Gomez and close pal Tisdale to joke around and show off their dance moves in the video.

He is also boosting Jepsen's profile by urging his 17.6 million Twitter.com followers to check out her music.

In a series of tweets, he writes, "we got your back @carlyraejepsen... spread the word.

"and to my fans. I signed Carly and I am supporting her. I support all my Friends  and I support you. stop fighting and support EACHOTHER!!"
