Rapper Kanye West knows how to make a statement, whether at the airport or at the Grammys.

His latest statement comes care of a post on his blog, simply titled "Please watch this, it’s f***ing amazing".

He is referring to a video which Kiwis Campbell Hooper and Joel Kefali made for Australian musician Jonathan Boulet.

The duo say they did not even know the video was out and were surprised to see it on the blog.

Kanye West's blog may seem trivial, but he knows what makes a good music video, works with the best directors and his blog is read by around a million people every month.

Campbell Hooper and Joel Kefali have been making videos for the likes of Dimmer and the Mint Chicks for a few years now under the name Special Problems.

“We're just learning as we go and so they get better as we go,”

“For every good video we do that ends up on Kanye’s blog there are others we cringe about!”

As for whether they will try to contact, and offer their services to, one of the biggest musicians on the planet, they are discussing it.
