The lavish Connecticut estate which Hollywood icon Katharine Hepburn called home has been placed on the market for US$28 million.
The late Oscar winner's six bedroom house in Old Saybook previously went on sale in June with a listing price of US$18 million, but now estate executors have combined the home, which boasts a private dock and a beach, with the rest of the sprawling grounds as part of a package deal.
The additional properties include a 15-room brick Colonial building, which features seven bathrooms and a two car garage.
Hepburn lived at the residence until her death in 2003.
