Kelly Clarkson coming to New Zealand

Pop star Kelly Clarkson, winner of the first series of American Idol, is bringing her All I Ever Wanted tour to New Zealand next year.

The show will take place at Auckland's Vector Arena on Sunday, April 11.

Clarkson will be supported by Eric Hutchinson who is also her opening act for the US leg of the tour, which is supporting her latest studio album All I Ever Wanted.

The concert promoters promise Clarkson will perform all of her hits including 'Since You’ve Been Gone', 'Because of You' and 'My Life Would Suck Without You', along with a few surprises such as covers from the likes of Kings of Leon, Patsy Cline and the White Stripes.

Tickets go on sale Thursday November 12.
