Jim....
I can't get my head around the fact that humans believe they are superior to other forms of life on this planet. The world is very unbalanced and I worry about the future. We must live with more respect for animals and mankind alike. If the millions of us are wrong worrying about climate change then I will be very glad and relieved indeed. But don't you think we better at least be safe than sorry? I don't want the world to reach the point of regret about climate change because then it will be too late.
I don't believe money has anything to do with the need to look afer this planet and we must do it now.
I personally live as green a life as I can.
I use clean renewable energy (meridian).
My family eat oganically (fair trade where possible)which is better for our health, the environment and famer workers health.
I buy as much recycled clothing and products that I can to meet our needs.
I only use eco friendly cleaning and laundry producys (some I make myself).
I walk to where I need to go as much as I can and and my partner carpools to work most days.
I use eco-friendly paper.I use reuseable shopping bags.
Our wedding next year is also eco- friendly.
I am an active member of greenpeace.
Maybe you should have a go at being kinder to the environment too.

It appears that you have not understood the reason for any food shortages etc... We have 6billion people on this planet now, to where as at the beginning of the 20th century we were lucky to have 600 million. Do idealistic greenies think that food is endless as our population sores toward 10billion within the next 20 years?
We need to have industries to feed, clothe and house the masses, unless the true aim of the green brigade is to send us back into the pre- Egyptian times when we were hunting on the plains with Hyenas and Lions etc...
The human race is unable to go back to those days.
Take a look at these greens in the picture, they are flying, driving etc and telling us not to. How many of them use modes of transport, live in plush apartments, have expensive clothing (all needing heavy industry to make) while they hypocritically tell us we are bad.
It is the old do as I say and not as I do, duhhh!!!
