Prime Minister John Key is to announce his new cabinet at 11am today.
He's completed National's deals with minor parties and has 64 confidence votes in the 121-member parliament, a comfortable majority he says will allow him to lead a stable government for the next three years.
Mr Key on Sunday signed up the Maori Party's three MPs to a support agreement that commits them to confidence votes but leaves them free to oppose anything else.
That includes the partial sale of state assets, which the Maori Party opposes.
Co-leaders Pita Sharples and Tariana Turia will continue to hold the ministerial portfolios they've had for the past three years.
Dr Sharples and Ms Turia toured the country speaking to their supporters at a series of hui before agreeing to again support the government, and they say there was unanimous support for them to continue sitting at the table.
That is backed by party co-vice-president Ken Mair.
"The direction our membership gave us was to move full steam ahead to consolidate and strengthen Whanau Ora while at the same time providing tangible support to the quality of life for so many of our families who are struggling with the here and now," Mr Mair said.
The support agreement ensures continued government support for Whanau Ora, the Maori welfare system Ms Turia initiated during the previous parliament, and she will remain minister in charge of it.
The support agreement includes setting up a ministerial committee on poverty and a commitment to provide more training places and apprenticeships for young people.
"Lifting Maori achievement is the major aim of this agreement, which is focused on results and outcomes," Mr Key said.
